Bali sunsets are truly magical, and Nusa Lembongan does not fail to deliver those fluorescent, hypnotising, beautiful closes to the daylight. Tourists flock to the beaches and beach bars to catch the last of the rays. However a little unknown secret venue offering a touch of sunset class is The Howff Whisky, Gin, & Wine Bar at Batu Karang Lembongan Resort & Day Spa. Our new speakeasy bar is located right below The Deck Cafe & Bar and a little interesting to find (“The Howff” after all, means “secret meeting place”), so part of the fun is getting there! But we promise once you are there, it will be an experience like no other. Sitting up at the bar hanging over the water, you can watch the most stunning sunsets with a unique dram, gin globe, or artfully crafted cocktail (we like to leave the discounted beers to our island neighbours!). You may find yourself getting lost in time & space, one minute feeling like you are in a dark bar in the UK, the next being reminded with the colourful sky and turquoise sea that you are actually in Bali. Open at 5pm just in time for sunset, The Howff is open to adults only with a smart casual dress code. Come sunset with our lassies & lads!
